Yes, you have dreamt of it and Google did it. Google has launched Google Reader a RSS reader on the web. It's Ajax-based... For example, you can type "j" to go to the next article or "k" for the previous one. Nothing special for a rich client but pretty new for a web-based GUI.
Of course, do not forget to type "Baccou Bonneville" and to subscribe to Baccou Bonneville Blog RSS feed. Google is clearly making a clever use of Google Sitemaps (it's because our blog is registered using a sitemap that you can retreive it in Google Reader).

FCKeditor is an HTML text editor that brings to the web many of the powerful functionalities of desktop editors like MS Word. Again, I encourage you to look at the demo. The resemblance to Microsoft Word is disconcerting. And here, no ActiveX. Only some JavaScript. Of course it's fully cross-browser as it supports IE 5.5+, Firefox 1.0+, Mozilla 1.3+ and Netscape 7+. |

Zimbra is an Ajax-based webmail. Zimbra is an Open Source Software; it follows Mozilla Public License (MPL). You must see the demo of Zimbra. It shows some of the great features of Zimbra:
- Drag & drop of messages in folders
- Messages in different folders are showed in the same conversation thread
- You can tag your messages
- Powerful search feature can even search in attachments
- You can save your most used search queries
- And more...
